On a few ocassions we have had people confused about how to install the loop adapters from our tactical slings onto their weapon. Here are a few pictures that should help show you how best to do this.
Start by undoing the loop adapter and pulling it through the sling mount.
Loop around the sling mount and back through the slide.
Continue until you have worked the webbing back around as much as you possibly can.
This is how it should look when you are done, just the way it came when it shipped to you from us, but looped around the weapon mount.
It's not a big deal most of the time, but testing with our slings has shown that in rare instances, not properly tightening the loop adapter can cause the weapon to suddenly come loose. So, I always recommend that you loop the webbing through the slide as many times as possible. This will allow you to avoid such a problem in a critical moment.

...and you can shoot from your support side.
Use Tightening Strap to take up any excess slack.
Go hands free!
Ours are made of our high quality 1 1/4" nylon webbing that provides comfort and durability. They have a quick detach feature on both ends along with two loop adapters that attach to the weapon's sling mounts.
To best utilize our 2-Point Quick Adjust Warrior Sling you will want a side mount sling swivel in the front of the weapon. They allow you to wear the sling while still being able to use the weapon. However, they usually require you to purchase as an add on to your basic rifle.
We sell them on our site also for $27/ea HERE.

Y Tactical MOLLE Vest Sling
Here we feature one of our popular sling designs. The Y Tactical Sling. It utilizes high quality webbing that gives the user unmatched comfort and strength (our webbing has a 4000lb breaking strength) at an unbeatable price.
The Y Tactical Sling is meant to be used as a single point sling that attaches to D-rings on your MOLLE vest.
It is easy to see how this sling works and why it is so popular. The "Y" distributes the weight of the weapon evenly. It can be attached or detached from the vest in a split second. It also gives the user freedom to maneuver the weapon in a variety of ways including shooting from either shoulder.
It includes the two vest/sling adapters as well as the loop adapter that attaches to the weapon.
In order to use a single point sling most effectively, it is recommended that you get a sling mount that is located near the rear of the receiver of your weapon. In the case of the AR15, we recommend something like this, RH Carbine Sling Mount, and you will need an armorer's wrench or a Tactical CAR Stock Wrench.
Our slings are in use by professionals around the world who demand the highest quality gear. We offer a lifetime limited warranty on all of our slings to demonstrate our commitment to high quality and long lasting gear.
As always, all orders from out website ship for free when you order at least one or more sling.

How to Install a CAR Sling Plate
You will need to remove the upper receiver assembly as well as the buffer and buffer spring and extend the buttstock out.
Then remove the castle nut with your stock wrench. Sometimes this can be a bit of a chore. If the castle nut was installed with loctite, you will need to heat up the area underneath the castle nut to loosen the bond. I recommend a heat gun or a hair drier, either should work well. Be careful not to melt any plastic on the weapon. If you are melting anything, you are overdoing it...
If the castle nut is staked it may just need a little bit of elbow grease in order to loosen the nut.
As the castle nut and end plate are removed, be careful that the rear takedown detent spring stays put.
Now you will be able to twist off the buffer tube from the receiver. Be aware of the buffer retainer and buffer retainer spring as they will go flying if you simply just unscrew the buffer tube.
With the buffer removed, you will simply replace the end plate on the buffer tube with your new sling mount CAR end plate.
Now you will only need to do everything you just did, but in reverse.
When screwing in the buffer tube, be sure not to put it in too far. You want it to hold the buffer retainer (and spring) in place so that it cannot come out of place, no more.
Be sure the rear takedown detent spring is properly held into place by your new end plate. As you hold the new end plate in place, use your other hand to hand tighten the castle nut. You can use loctite when reinstalling the castle nut.
Then use the stock wrench to tighten the castle nut all the way. You may want to stake or restake the castle nut and end plate.
Now you can reinstall the buffer and buffer spring and the upper assembly.
Disclaimer: You choose to attempt this at your own risk. I am not responsible for any injury, damage, or legal issues you encounter.

Tactical Slings
A sling is like a holster for your rifle. It is a must have item on a battle carbine.
Single Point slings are particularly suited for people who intend to use the weapon and need it "at the ready". The very nature of the single point is that it allows the user the greatest freedom in maneuvering and manipulating the weapon, while still giving the user weapon retention. Allows the user to shoot from either shoulder with the sling on (like when shooting from cover) and good for PSD, getting in and out of vehicles, dynamic entry, MOUT, etc...
The downside is that the single point will dangle from the user if he doesn't keep both hands on it, i.e. if you transition to a sidearm, need to climb something, slapping cuffs on someone or if you are carrying wounded. You can still transition to a sidearm and all, but you will need to move the weapon down and away from your front and if you are running or climbing, etc... the rifle can bang against the user. If you go to your knees without your hands on the weapon, the front end can smack the ground (common problem for medics who have to treat wounded).
Some guys even complain that if they simply let go of the rifle it will hit them in the nuts... which of course is not a recommended way to handle a weapon with a single point sling. If you are having this problem you are not using this sling properly. If that bothers you, learn to use it properly, or use a different sling style (2-point, 3-point).
Another downside is that the single point slings usually require you to purchase and install a mount specifically mounted near the rear of the receiver.
The truth about single point slings is this, if you don't think you need one, you probably don't. Most people don't understand how to use them and what their real benefits are, and even some people who do understand that do not prefer the single point in general. For those who know and understand the benefits they offer, and are in need of those benefits, there is really no good substitute.
2-Points are good all-purpose slings. Mostly just a carry strap. But it is a more secure method of keeping the weapon on you.
The problem with the standard 2-point is that once you set the length, it is stuck at that length and usually takes a minute or two to take off the sling and re-adjust the length.
With a 2-Point Quick Adjust, you can adjust the length of the sling in a second while you have the sling on, and can still carry it "at the ready".
A 2-Point Quick Adjust is really the best all-purpose sling. These, when properly set up, provide the user with all of the advantages of the other slings, and none of the disadvantages.

Use Tightening Strap to take up any excess slack.
Go hands free!
To best utilize a 2-Point Quick Adjust you will want a side mount sling swivel in the front of the weapon.
It is a bit complicated though for many and makes the weapon almost too secure for all-purpose use. So much so that shooting from a weak shoulder (Around cover, or if you get injured on your strong side) is impossible with the sling on, also can hang up on certain gear depending on what you are wearing.
Three-Points can also interfere with controls on the AR15 or ejection of the case for left handers.
Sling Mounting Points
Side sling mounts are preferable. They allow you to wear the sling while still being able to use the weapon. However, they usually require you to purchase as an add on to your basic rifle.

To best utilize a 2-Point Quick Adjust you will want a side mount sling swivel in the front of the weapon.
The 3-Point has only one real advantage, and that is that when you transition to a sidearm, the weapon is held at a more advantageous and secure position (and also keeps the muzzle from striking the ground if you go to a kneeling position), but no better than a good 2-point, just better than a single point in that regard.
It is a bit complicated though for many and makes the weapon almost too secure for all-purpose use. Sling Mounting Points
Hopefully you have a few mounting points on your buttstock. You can get sling adapter plates installed where the buttstock meets the lower receiver. The ACE stocks come with an adapter like this. If you have a stock that didn’t come with one, you can buy burnsed loops and other types of mounts as well.
Side sling mounts are preferable. They allow you to wear the sling while still being able to use the weapon. However, they usually require you to purchase as an add on to your basic rifle.
